I don't have any experience with Mediashout, so I couldn't tell you if this can be done with that software or not, but hopefully the concept can be used to try to accomplish the same thing. We broke out of the box of limitations on a lot of things. But the basics are where the majority of users do think things are easier and quicker. I am hoping to upgrade our video output this year to stop using green backgrounds and chromekey, and actually start sending separate key and fill signals with alpha key. In streamlining & rebuilding MediaShout in Version 7, a lot was simplified, and were still releasing some of the more advanced features over the next several months. The ATEM keys out the green background, and leaves the text behind. When lyrics are displayed on the presentation screen, it grabs the text and runs it through a different template for the lower thirds output which shows up on top of the green background color. On the lower thirds output, I have it set up to always output green as the screen color instead of black, which I am keying out in the switcher as a chromakey. Currently running 3 outputs: one presentation screen, which goes both to the audience projector and into our camera switcher (BMD ATEM), one confidence monitor for the band members, and one dedicated lower thirds output. I use a setup like you're describing using Propresenter.
